I met Rua and her lovely family (mom and dad, brother and sister) Dec. 15, '17 when they were visiting NYC from Ireland. She was surprised when I showed her the drawing and said she would like to have it.

This was drawn outside the French Roast on 11th and 6th Ave. I did so many drawings and paintings there. Alas it closed. But it will always be embedded in my memory.
Picture
I met Ana, on the left, in the park on my corner. She lived in a residence nearby. One of her cohorts said her hair was a wig she often wore. We went for a walk after I drew her. She is bent over reading the paper. She said she would like to keep the drawing but feared she would lose it where she lived. We agreed to have coffee sometime.

Playing for change: this woman traveled all over the city with her dog.
Picture
I painted this after a troublesome dream imaging about might happen to our earth if our "leaders" acted on impulse.
Picture
I was standing about 40 ft. away in front of a Mexican restaurant Barnacho in Nov. 2020 and one woman's face immediately stood out so I made the sketch of Inessa above. From that distance I could not do justice to her lovely face.
Picture
Rio was standing on the street asking for food money. I asked if she would like me to draw her. "I am ugly" she said. I said "Who told you that. You are beautiful to me." She smiled when I showed her the finished drawing. "No one ever drew me before". I said I would be honored if I could post it on my site.
